About
Enigmatic and ethereal paintings which reimagine landscapes, architecture, and man-made objects.
I moved to York to study art. Here I developed a lasting interest in art history, archaeology and architecture. My artwork took a backseat when I retrained as a teacher, but I continued to pass on my love for art through children's workshops. When the opportunity for a temporary studio arose, I was able to rekindle my love for art and experimentation with different techniques. I now have a permanent studio and exhibit my work.
My latest work is oils on large canvases. Using small brushstrokes to build up layers of colour, the variation of colour and tone achieved creates an abstract and ethereal quality.
